Pigs, before they became domesticated like they are now, forage in the wild. There's nothing nasty about that. Animals either hunt or scavenge. You're just thinking they're nasty because of how the meat industry has changed the way we raise and slaughter them. Look into how chickens are raised and slaughtered. It's just as nasty and filthy.

Don't get me wrong, I eat chicken too. And I love seafood. But if you look into the filth we dump into the ocean, you'd probably not want to eat seafood.

Pigs are filthy even in their domesticated state. It looks and acts like a rodent. It's persona is unhygenic and filthy. I'll take my chances abstaining.

Shyt is not specific to pork.

NOTHING is 100% safe to eat. All you can do is make sure your shyt is fully cooked and prepared correctly, pray to your god (if you believe in that kind of thing) and hope for the best. Or go vegetarian. But even vegetables can be have bacterial infections in some cases.

There are ways to make meat safe for consumption... I really don't eat processed food - I eat it in a way that makes it safer... but overall if I must eat meat from the grocery store or resturant - it will be riskier by far to consume pork meat. How can you deny that.?
