always found this odd, more so than any other fight. Did people really think Wilder was unbeatable, that Fury beating him was shocking that they had to come up with conspiracy theories to justify why it happened?

i can tell you the exact fight where i started questioning wilder - vs molina...and this was after he won the belt from stiverne which i gave him props for in that fight thread. its was his best performance boxing wise. the molina fight made me go :patrice: hold up something is not right

fury though is a different case - ive never liked fury and how he fights..truthfully i thought he would have lost his zero a long time ago via KO :heh:
He lost to mcdermont and got a gift. He improved vastly after

A lot of it has to do with the fact Fury been caught cheating before, and then the pics of his gloves came out and it did raise a lot if eyebrows.

I wasn't. However I'll say this, Fury had a lot of defensive holes in the second bout that can be exploited. If you don't believe me watch it yourself.
He ate all those shots Wilder threw at him and didn't back up, at all. Clearly part of his plan.

exactly...as much as i give wilder shyt about being a one trick pony...fury is not as great as everyone thinks he is...wallin fight he got touched, bloodied, and rocked...fury's time is coming
Only if a HW with a good left hook fights him. He wouldn't lose to Ruiz though.

Fury tends to do bad against weaker comp, but does amazing against all time greats

he IS good as everyone says, if not better....H2H he is one of the deadliest HW's ever

no he isnt..Fury will fall soon enough

he looked terrible against an aging Wlad that minor foot feints was enough to throw him off..it certainly wasnt the punching offense because there was very little of that in 12 rounds ..Wlad is the only proven ATG on his record..im not giving Wilder that type of recognition just yet..plus he is the only one who didn't KO Wlad..

in order of fighters who beat Wlad the best

1. Corrie Sanders - didn't lose 1 gotdamn round and dropped him 4 times and finished him in 2 in his prime
2. Lamon Brewster - Took all of wlad's offense, got dropped, then got up to force a 5th round TKO
3. Anthony Joshua - Got dropped and in the process scored like 4 knockdowns to stop dude in the 11th
4. Ross Purrity - Wlad wore himself out punching him, Purrity dropped him in round 10 and then beat him around the ring until Wlad's trainer had to come in and save him
5. Tyson Fury - Foot Feints, held and leaned on Wlad, only one real good punch of note..did not even drop him..Went 12 in a horrific fight against a man couldnt pull the trigger no more

So calling out a known cheater is something only idiots with no boxing knowledge do?

Nah, it's just that it was clear that most of those people have never had their hands wrapped and/or worn a pair of gloves before to point some of the things out that they did. I'm all for people making valid points and observations but I hate when people speak on shyt they obviously don't understand.
