:wtf:

Rethink this post. We’ve had busts, sure. Everyone but San Antonio has. We’ve developed our fair share of guys.. they just end up leaving for bigger cities when they blow up.

Naw. Y'all gave up on Oladipo way too soon and for Elfrid Payton. Traded a decent young dude in Sabonis for Ibaka(and signing Biz alongside) Bamba won't develop under Clifford(notorious for not giving young players a chance) and behind guys like Vucci and aminu

I’m surprised that people don’t give Orlando more shyt for that Ibaka deal than they do. They hilariously overpaid to get him in the first place to only trade him after the season for pennies on the dollar.

The Elfrid Payton move was questionable as well because they could have just signed him for the cheap and they obviously haven’t filled out the PG role since he left the team.

Even if they wouldn’t have resigned Vucevic, the trio of Bamba, Issac and Gordon still aren’t able to play on the floor at the same time as there’s no spacing. 2 of the 4 need to go and it won’t be Issac or Vucevic.

it's easy to say this now:comeon: back then drafting Bamba made a lot of sense

he's elite physical specimen who averaged 13 ppg, 10.5, and 3.6 bpg (without committing too many fouls) as a freshman. he was supposed to be Rudy Gobert with more offensive upside. Teams didn't want to end up regretting passing on that potential like they did with Gobert.

Passing on Mo Bamba in the Draft is a Huge Mistake
Mo Bamba is the NBA Draft’s freakish defensive star

He's still a project. Vucevic becoming an All-Star, the Magic making the playoffs, and Mo's own injuries have delayed the plans I suppose.

Atlanta could use him as they need a defensive big man to pair with John Collins, although I don’t know what it would take to get him.

As long as he and Vucevic are both in Orlando, then he’s not going to have a fair chance to play and develop.

It’s not easy to say this now

He was not good at Texas... he’s never showed any potential to be an offensive threat
