Not really. The reason best of both world flopped was cause Jay didn’t wanna do any videos, no tour or have anything to do after the video dropped.

After a while when it started to seem like he was innocent (he was acquitted) and they dropped unreleased music as Pt 2 and decided to do the tour that Jay had been skipping on. Which went bust immediately when they beat him up.


To me they all should look funny cause, ofc us the public let it slip cause we weren’t on that internet shyt back then. But the reason to why he was innocent was wrongful search, not that he didn’t do it. And ofc the industry people must’ve known this. Just as they must’ve known about Aaliyah.
