One thing that always fukks with me tho, is this theory that WE were the native americans. I remember when i was little i saw a pic of my great grandmother. She looked like an 'Indian' but she was dark skinned. fukked me up because i was reading this Cochise cartoon book and thought "my great granny looks like this but we're not indian"

I'm 90% african (check sig) so I guess you can chalk it up to african genetic diversity but it's still kinda interesting

It's not absurd to talk about AAs having "Indian" dna in them, its a no brainer, but dudes literally want to ignore the Nigerian, Angolan,Ghanian, etc DNA you find in AAs to push a Narrative is comical.

The fact is due to the history of the Western World AAs and other Black groups essentially formed NEW ethnic groups due to mixing with people from different ethnic groups. My mother is 100% African yet is light skin and people always thinks she's from the islands , you have Geechie people from SC who "look more African" than me, yet I`m 100% African.

They arent considered black because the term Black isn't even a real term as it relates to genetics. Black is a term that was applied to people of continental Africa.
Indians from the Country of Indian are "Black" yet not "black people", Aboriginals of Australia are "Black" yet not "Black People", Negritos in the Philippines are "Black" yet not "Black people".

All this pseudo science just like applying the term "Black" to where it fits their Narrative.

There Are Blacks who were from West Africa who came to America prior to Columbus, these are people who African Americans have DNA Connections to depending on where their Ancestors came from.

I say indengious. But we might say black to make the point that the people here have been told a story by white people and we shouldn't believe it due to the fact that everyone who has looked into the story no longer agrees with the narrative.

They made the indigenous people into nikkas (ignorant of themselves )through oppression. ... and some africans came here but the majority of us were already here. There is genetic similarities but that's for the same reason most black people are similar. ..... no sub species mix like Caucasians and a different path than most asians and Caucasians.

It's not psuedo science, it's fact. AND the west africans who came here prior to Columbus look like us even today in Africa. Certain tribes resemble south and north Americans more. Africa is a Continent with a ton of different people, many of those people traveled to the Western World and mixed with and traded with the "Indigenous" people of the West prior to Columbus. You have areas in Mexico named after the Mandingo Tribe of West Africa.

Maybe some links about alternative origins of the group that now makes up AAs would help. I will say I won't dismiss that early census figures among the Spanish and British were F'ed in regards to classifying tribes as a negro but I'd like some documentation I can read.

The genealogy.com commercials are intended to soften blows, I think. Way too many white people in those ads are finding out their grandparents lied about their true countries of origin.... So i figure that's the nice way of prepping the unprepared for 'you black'.
