Seeing the ball through the net helps a shooter's rhythm. That's why when a shooter is struggling they try to get to the FT line just so they can see the ball go through the net. With no net, you don't get that. Half the game (or more) is mental.

Plus the net will indicate which way the wind is blowing.

And again, as previously mentioned, and repeatedly repeated, it's hard to tell if a shot was good or not with no net.

This is the exact reason why NBA players contiue to shoot after a whistle call. Seeing the ball going through gives them confidence.

Thats because the gym is a controlled environment the icing on the proverbial cake. No wind, perfectly even floor and its wood at that! Plus you got higher quality rims with the glass backboard thats perfect if you know how to use it right but the nets, the nets are those icing flowers on the cake Yeah your slice of cake is good if you get a piece without em but you know that you want one them flowers pieces of the cake, The swoosh when you hit nothing but net Sh!t aint official without it.

Thats kinda the point of the thread breh. Its rare to find an outdoor court with the net. Its why I was pissed off in the first place! These lil a$$holes

I shoot on rims with no nets for this very purpose, makes you really focus on your target and is a good workout for your depth perception. Then when you come to a gym or something it's time.

thats how one of the hoops on my complex is like...im like i pay good money to live in a nice place...the least you can do keep up the maintenance like they do with the tennis courts and the swimming pool
