Why the generation after millennials will vote Republican

ERIE, Pa. — Max Bloomstine has a positive view of the nation’s growing diversity, believes the American dream is attainable (but doesn’t believe he’s entitled to it) and is more into the “we” instead of the “me.”

He is politically independent but leans conservative, attends church on a regular basis, and views his parents — not sports figures or celebrities — as role models.

Right now, though, two things weigh heavily on his mind: where to attend college next year (it’s either going to be the University of Pittsburgh or Rochester) and working on a summer job.

Which is why the right is so anti-intellectual now.

Especially when they leave their safe home towns and actually have to compete on equal footing.

I've felt some type of way about this before, but there really are people who get it, and are more passionate about the culture, heritage, and advancement of black people regardless of pigmentation, than people who are black like Jermichael Finely.

Which is why the right is so anti-intellectual now.

That cognitive dissonance and refusal of accepting / acknowledging wrongdoings of the past.....

It's a cycle. The young adults of the 1980s were much more conservative than their parents were in the 1960s at the same age.

History repeats itself when the the first time generation z voters of the 2020 election will be much more conservative than their parents were in the late 90s early 2000s at the same age.

Liberal colleges? I thought college was a place for free thinking and sharing of ideas no matter how different?

That cognitive dissonance and refusal of accepting / acknowledging wrongdoings of the past.....

It's a reason why the US doesn't invest in education and have curriculum that teaches about America's past, the good and brutal.. don't teach about African history and the role it played in shaping America..

The US education system is about indoctrination no more no less

Thankfully, their share of the young population keeps decreasing (they make up just 52% of it).
And 55% of children under age 5 are nonwhite.

The Democrat youth population overall seems to be on a decline across all three groups from what the data indicates.
