I think its amazing and I do think its groundbreaking. they've eliminated the need to ever even turn off their console, or even turn the channel away from it. when has that been done before. if youre a console maker, what more could you want from an audience...

Basically to do all of what X1 does you would need to buy a MIC, a camera, a harmony remote, a roku, a ir blaster, and a dlna streamer. Then you'd have to find a way to hook all that up to your TV, and you still wouldn't get the integrated experience of being able to control it all from one place, and never have to change inputs.

It is pretty groundbreaking for those if us that give it a chance.

Software needs hardware to run it. The kinect has a processor to run this, its not something that could be done with a mic. You said it could, you were wrong.

Nah its much more than that, first off no remote turns on/off your entire entertainment system with just your voice. Secondly that's only the tip of the iceburg as far as the TV integration goes.

Stick to praising the PS4, no need in trying to downplay what the X1 does. If PS4 was so much better you wouldn't need to do this
