The label lost a lot of money due to the fact he couldn't tour the world
I don't know why they didn't take care of this sooner
visa app was filed the same year his debut album dropped. How long did the label even know about his immigration status?

anyways He gonna be fine with a British passport touring, probably do mad features with US rappers via email and get love in the UK.

The real question is why was he applying for u visa? Those visas are usually delegated to people who are victms of criminal activity

From the INS website
You may be eligible for a U nonimmigrant visa if:

  • You are the victim of qualifying criminal activity.
  • You have suffered substantial physical or mental abuse as a result of having been a victim of criminal activity.
  • You have information about the criminal activity. If you are under the age of 16 or unable to provide information due to a disability, a parent, guardian, or next friend may possess the information about the crime on your behalf (see glossary for definition of ‘next friend’).
  • You were helpful, are helpful, or are likely to be helpful to law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of the crime. If you are under the age of 16 or unable to provide information due to a disability, a parent, guardian, or next friend may assist law enforcement on your behalf.
  • The crime occurred in the United States or violated U.S. laws.
  • You are admissible to the United States. If you are not admissible, you may apply for a waiver on a Form I-192, Application for Advance

from what nikkas said in the booth, he was a victim of a crime in the US that also got his friend killed
so he overstayed his visa, then while being illegal and promoting degeneracy, he may be allowed to benefit from services that is suppose to be for law abiding legal immigrants. Gotta love America

As a minor, his family overstayed their work visas, and he, like almost two million other children, was left without legal status through no faults of their own."

Tough break init :manny:

I think that one of the conditions for DACA is not to be engaged in any crimes.

Dude did some shyt. Then he made music glorifying violence. :yeshrug:

ADOS = AMERICAN descendant of slaves...enslaved on US Soil.
Not Caribbean Descendant of Slaves in Europe.
You already knew, you just want to crowbar, ridicule, and snark.
It's quite alright and y'all can dap each other up back and forth + fight against strawmen you've built up as much as you want.
I wish him well and more power to y'all.

LWO FOREVER
In the immigration context, it’s a different matter. Though expungement may seems like a blessing, given that a criminal conviction can prevent a foreign national from entering the United States or cause a foreign national to be deported from the United States, it doesn’t necessarily work the way you’d expect. For immigration purposes a criminal conviction will always exist, no matter whether a court expunges your record or not.

He won't risk leaving US before his residency is granted
He ain't trying to live in UK
This is his home now

I don't think that he is residency material.
