I still haven't finished Season 2 (I've only watched the first 2 or 3 episodes of that season). I need to hop back into the show because I really enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the first season. Binge watched it with a friend back when we were doing that. Had potential but story wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Didn't really watch much of the second season but started noticing a fall off. Don't think I have interest in watching it as much as watching season one again.

Show would have been better if they were already established but did flashbacks of when they were trying to get on.

I don't think it was quite trash or wack, but it wasn't as good as people here seem to think it was and I'm always confused as to why people keep bringing it up. I only ever see/hear it mentioned on The Coli, the rest of the world has forgotten about that show.
It was slightly above average and once in a while a Cam'Ron song would play and a white broad would show her t*ts and all of a sudden nikkas were like

Tbh if it wasn't for GoT HBO would be dead.
The decisions they have been making with their shows is baffling.

Friend of mine worked on HTMIIA. HBO was on a cost cutting spree when they got rid of it. The feedback they got from people about it was bad and helped put the nail in the coffin too. People hated Cam and didn't relate to any of the characters or care about jeans or making clothes. Show only had a regional appeal, HBO shows are supposed to have a global appeal so HBO got rid of it.
Girls shyt has the same non-ratings, yet HBO keep em in rotation; oh wait
Jesus Christ, you dudes talk about HBO dropping this show like it's the equivalent to HBO dropping The Sopranos after the third season or some shyt. 
It was a decent show (at best) but there's no reason for it to still be brought up.
I'm not even sure if anybody who either wasn't a New Yorker or had some kind of New York fascination gave half of a fukk about the show anyway.
