Why should intellect determine someone's success /earning potential? Socialism is the answer, PMW.

Pay should be a reflection of the % of profits generated for the business being operated

Example: McDonalds franchisee pays min wage to labor, ~$15-20 to the manager then operating costs of the building and supplies. In many cases the "good" mcdonalds workers (idiots) who stay for 10-20 years do get paid more than minimum but are the skills critical? Nah. Cause you could pay someone cheaper to do basically the same work.

the owner is gonna look at it as a matter of costs vs sales speed. If you can keep the same speed of transactions why pay more? Only reason is to keep customers happy.

Fast food places hire and fire for that reason because its easier to do that than try to cultivate labor in a shytty job generally built for people who have slim to no skills.

otherwise? work for a non-profit or the government :manny: folks dont understand what a job really is in 2018

folk need to wakeup that the constitution and this countries rules were not designed for "jobs" but for owners be it business or real estate.

This has nothing to do with what this thread is about. But thanks for your input.

Why would a person ever pursue being an aerospace engineer when any ol Walmart or McDonald's job offers the same pay.
The word here is incentives....

Aerospace Engineer is incentivized to make more. The reward for all that extra schooling is pays off. With that said I think a mcdonalds employee should still be able to make enough to put a roof over their head.

It's greed. What more do you possibly need? That's what has happened people have lost sight due to their hyper consumerism...from a capitalist society.

Then what's stopping people from acting dumb so they wont be "assigned" a difficult job a surgeon.

In your idea world, being intelligent would be a hindrance while uninspired dumbasses would be living the dream.
