Y’all funny. The EV9 is going to print money for Kia.

A lot of folks want EV’s but they also want a more traditional suv shape. Rivian is the only other company to offer something like this, but it’s priced out of reach for most of the middle class families who are buying EVs.

People are paying 65k for a loaded EV6 so I can def see these ranging from 55k for the base to 75 - 80k for the premium models.

We will be looking for a larger EV in the next two years (hoping for kids). With my wife’s strange need to drive a boxy suv, and me wanting an ev … this is the only vehicle that checks the boxes for both of us.

With that said, I really am waiting for dodge to come out with some kind of Durango “392” EV so I can still look cool when I’m out in the streets.

Lol. You do know there is a sizable market for EV/Hybrid SUVs. The fact of the matter is they are one of the only manufacturers doing this and it will probably be priced competitively likely in the 65-75k range.

Don’t know what y’all fools talking about but the infustructure for EVs is beyond shyt except Tesla… so unless you looking to do a majority of your ev driving close to home or within 250 miles of your home then it doesn’t make sense to go all in.. if you looking to do road trips driving 500+ miles then the obvious choice for an ev would be a Tesla.

The EV6 and the upcoming EV9 is a game changer as it relates to how I view the Kia brand. The best thing they did was change the logo and completly changed how they design their cars. For the first time in my life I would be open to cop a Kia. They fixed their reliability issues they had and they now hold it's value on the resale market. They changed a lot but they probably should have just changed their name all together but it's not a deal breaker. I'm a Toyota guy and currently have a FJ cruiser, RAV4 and a 4Runner but I'm eyeing that EV9 to replace my 4Runner in a few years depending on how the range looks.
