Because the real world is no different than this site. Everybody was/is focused on Mayweather, Pacquiao is simply a replaceable prop. We're going to go through this whole ordeal again in September. Yes, people were cheering for Pac but they were watching for Mayweather. The narrative was never about anything about Mayweather; he's always going to get the credit and blame for anything. Even if Pac would have won the narrative would've been focused on May losing. Even the Mayweather fans on this site are essentially just the opposite side of the same coin.

Just curious, if we stick with this racing analogy do you appreciate someone more who laps their opponent or does enough to stay ahead and win the race... the burden is on both people to make the fight entertaining...
