being "real" is so ambiguous
1. He needs to understand that Drake and his producer 40 (Noah) were commissioned by Aaliyah's uncle who owns the masters of her recordings.
2. He shouldn't make assumptions as to the non-involvement of Missy and Timbaland.
3. He needs to ask himself whether he has a problem with all the people who worked on big and pac recordings long after they died
DMX hate for Drake in regards to his involvement in the new Aaliyah album is illogical. He doesn't know the details and should probably STFU
in regards to your points:
1. Drake and 40 weren't commissioned, they put money up and the album will be joint released on their label. Also, DMX said he didn't have any control over that, he is just voicing his opinion.
2. He isnt making assumptions, he is going by what the interviewers are asking him. And Timbo and Missy weren't initially approached about the project when Drake was out there talking about commanding it and released that song that received all that negative backlash from the fans. Word is that they will be involved now and im glad to hear it, it seems like somebody has actually taken into account the negative reaction from the fans.
3. DMX didn't know pac or big. Why would he comment on that. He actually knew Aaliyah.
DMX's response to Drakes involvement in this project is very logical. It makes sense to me why he is responding the way he is, and he isn't the first one to say it. Timbo himself said the exact same thing when he was asked about it not too long ago. If no-one spoke up about it we would have got more of that "Enough Said" trash. That song was terrible.
As far as Drake and DMX fighting, who would win in a fair one is completely hypothetical, but that aint never gonna happen though. Drakes bodyguards was shook when Common approached on the red carpet, yall think they gonna let DMX of all people get that close to dude?
