Netflix’s model is basically throwing shyt on the wall and seeing what sticks. They release tons of shyt every week. A lot of is mediocre to trash with some gems here and there. If you want something with a higher hit rate then hbo max is probably on top right now, but they don’t release anywhere close to the amount of content as Netflix.
This. Netflix is about quantity, not quality. If a studio buys a hot spec script it can still take years to get things figured out, optimized and start shooting and if necessary reshoot because they intend to create the perfect studio film. Netflix' MO is basically 'Here's 100 million dollars, get it done and good luck with it'.

Yall be judging Netflix like they aren't a baby when it comes to original movies. They're just getting their footing.

What other production is dropping straight heat?
I'll wait...
Im saying tho, where are these quality over quantity studios?

WB? :mjlol:
Disney?
Universal?

Most stuff is middle of the road.

Grey's Anatomy being on near 20 years isn’t cause it’s great and not because it’s bad.

It just stays in its lane and doesn’t rock the boat.

A Game of Thrones, Lost, or the Office are rare and too hard to replicate. A three season okayish space fantasy is a lot easier.
