when it comes to the other quaterbacks in the league. But when it comes to baker it’s pure :
from many of them.
I wonder why? For the record, I don’t think it’s race related because no other CAC quarterback or position player gets this much love from them. Only Baker Mayfield gets that energy. McCaffrey/kittle/bosa/stafford/Rodgers/brady/burrow/allen/herbert/rivers/both manning brothers etc werent beloved by them like this. Those white players were/are respected but not embraced at this level. I thought the baker mayfield stanning was an corny inside reddit joke between cacs but they really love that dude
He hasn’t accomplished anything worthy of note in his professional NFL career so far, but they worship him regardless. He’s not tall, fast, or mobile. He’s an average thrower at his very best, he’s not known for his accuracy or his strength. He’s not even athletic. He’s mid honestly, I dont see the appeal. He doesn’t move the needle as a quarterback. He’s not an impact player. His passing /rushing yards statistics are underwhelming. His pass completions percentage is mediocre. He never won shyt at any level of football and never lead his teams to a conference championship game ever.
They hate Deshaun Watson with a passion though. They never forget to bash him all day, every day. I believe they hate him because he took their precious baker’s starting QB job in Cleveland. They resent that the browns traded for him and made their favorite player immediately expandable. They also don’t like Tom Brady anymore just because their precious baker called out him a few months ago. Since then they hate him.
If baker had one wonderful season like Mahomes, Lamar or burrow they would build multiple statuses everywhere for his glory.
