I think part of writing is that you naturally overthink it because you can constantly gauge how much of your persona you are willing to expose in real time. When talking, you just go, there’s not really a chance to overthink unless you’re taking long ass dramatic pauses.

I love their shows but you're one of the few bringing that kinda perspective to it and I think that's big fam. This issue specifically, "how do we talk to/confront racists" is one that REALLY needs that because of the lack of nuance going on with it from most talking heads.

He was shouting at Katie Halper on her live stream last night. Shid looked like verbal abuse. He was cussing out Bernie, any progressive in Congress, the Intercept, etc... just cursing and yelling about the CARES Act.
And Katie was like "well, if he blocked it, would it have worked?"

when im doing the production meetings im often in awe that this is really happening as i now have a producer and editor of color, to which i wanted an all POC staff.

honestly, 2018 march i was still struggling with my shot up leg, my girl broke it off with me after i had cheated, it was not a good time, that show made me feel like i could listen to the news and sam analyzed it while michael would contribute real world extras. honestly man seeing this thread is a gift and a curse.
