In addition, the manner in which every year they would allow the rough and tough ECF team to rough up the western team was hilarious and ridiculous. allowing the eastern teams FOUL the hell out of the western team was the real reason their defense worked. You can pull just about any picture from that series regarding kobe trying to make a play and you will see not One and sometimes not 2. but at times 3 people fouling him. it's as clear as day. One guy is holding him while the other guy is poking at the ball or going for a block. It was obviously fouling but so what the refs would say. THat was the only way the ECF teams ever had a chance vs the western teams that were far superior in their offensive skills than the ECF teams. Jordan did get beat by the pistons but jordan also got ...BEAT by the pistons if you get my point. Thats because jordan's bulls was not a rough and tough team. they were a more skilled offensive team that could play mostly legal defense.

The year jordan and pip beat magic was due to injuries to the lakers but also due to pippen being allowed to straight up FOUL magic the entire series for no calls. once again the nba allowed the ECF team to rough up the WCF team. This has been the case since forever.

Kobe did his job in that series and had no help because Pau checked out and Chandler ate Bynum's ass up. Shawn Marion's ass was washed up at that point compared to what he once was. LeBron did not get locked down by "The Matrix", he got locked down by Shawn Dwyane Marion. And D-Wade avg 26 on 54 percent shooting against that zone defense so that's not an excuse when you're supposed to be "the best player in the world" at that point.
