My comment is observation fam, I personally never got caught up. I swear him maybe being nas was on news headlines. Off gp I didn't give him a listen. Sad part is I downloaded your old droog EP but to this day I don't know what it sounds like. This was around the same time action bronson was catchin heat for sounding like ghostface so "cacs impersonating legends to get on" was the prevailing rhetoric. the theories were crazy but if you listened to Nas then after a couple of listens of that mixtape you could tell it was really Nas. would be dope for someone to do that tho, MF DOOM basically did but he's known as DOOM now, not known for his KMD work.

He fooled me and I'm not the only one, I went to his first show and Tamron Hall was there hoping it was Nas. She was disappointed this goofy white boy came out. lol
And at the show the white boys were the happiest and really hanging on his every word like he accomplished something. Just made me think this is how white people got over in Jazz and Rock and Roll back in the day. They just faked it until they made it, their white audience gave them a pass and then some white academics wrote how they pioneered shyt and then BAM! It's no longer Black art.
