In his case it mightve been worth rushing back to get the 65 games and awards votes for his contracts because of how those rules work

In general this is why guys should sit and rehab.

If you play through injury and arent as good everyone will say youre trash

Then, if you have to take even longer getting back into form because you rushed back, people will say youre still trash and you should be better by now, no matter what the medical reality is or if your team communicates about it with the "probable" and "gtd" designations

And by the time you are recovered, if ever, people will say things like "where was this when we needed it" and "I guess hes actually trying again"

Its better not to play than play through injury for everyone:
your team who has no chance without you at 100% and is better off with a better pick
the fans who dont care for reality and will complain more if you play and struggle than if you were on the bench
and of course yourself
100%, IIRC he got all NBA 3rd team last year so he's eligible now for a supermax vs the regular max. What's that, a 100ish mil difference over the lifetime of the deal?

Another prime co-sign by the ultimate casual @Gil Scott-Heroin :bryan: Now he’s going to act like he doesn’t like him

He was a fake wannabe All-Star then and he’s not even close being a real All-Star now. He was the product of inflated pace, or “rat ball” as his coach Rick Carlisle used to say about other teams. He was never as good as those inflated stats.
How hilarious accusing me of being a Casual, when most folks in here are pointing out his struggles are due to his injury, yet there's absolutely no mention of this in your post, because you don't watch games.

You're desperately trying to save face after saying Haliburton would never be an All-Star.

You were wrong.

No amount of goal-post moving or deflection will change that simple fact.

Nothing to do with fukking pawgs. He hasn’t fully gained his confidence and aggressiveness back from that injury of last year(in the regular season). He rushed himself back because he wanted to play the 65 games and be elegible for the full super max rookie extension.

Hasn’t been the same player since this injury.

People forget he faked an injury in the Eastern Conference Finals because the Celtics kept attacking him on defense

That's when I knew something was up with him actually wanting to be great
You haven't played a sport, competitively, once in your miserable ass life. What the fukk would you know about injuries?

:unimpressed:

His funky shot stopped going in. And Buddy Hield didn’t get enough credit for Pacers success last year

Man ...
Hield is fool's gold.
Mathurin is the alpha dog on this team.

Just glad he is back from injury. Hopefully Carlisle stop playing games with his tick and start him. Carlisle be over thinking shyt and fukkin up too much talent.

Yea thats why I said it was probably worth it. I feel like the rest of my post is still relevant in most cases.
