@jwinfield said it already: when you have a script by Aaron Sorkin, directed by Danny Boyle and starring Michael Fassbender, it's going to play and get a lot more pub than a movie starring Asthon Kutcher and directed by someone who doesn't have the same pedigree as Boyle
I get that but who in their right mind was clamoring or dying for another Steve Jobs biopic:why:

It was in development at the same time. But this one had a lot more setbacks than the independent flick. And I'm sure they're betting on the fact that it's Sorkin, Boyle, Fassbender, and not a typical biopic. It's told in a three act structure that seems to be more fitting of a play than a flick. Each before a product launch. And I'm not a guy who's like "YEAH STEVE JOBS BABY!!!" but I'm a Sorkin fanboy so I was sold the minute I heard he was writing it. Fassbender is just a cherry on top

IT WAS ALRIGHT BUT I AGREE WIT WHOEVER SAID IT PLAYS OUT LIKE A PLAY.......THE KUTCHER ONE WENT MORE INTO DETAIL ABOUT HIS ACTUAL LIFE, THIS ONE FOCUSED MORE ON HIS PROJECTS AND PRESENTATIONS.
