Why is the super bowl not a hot ticket?

Theyre saying that they are having a lot of problems selling tickets for the super bowl compared to most years this is one of the slowest selling ever

I mean i know the Ravens arent a national team but i thought the Niners were supposenly a somewhat popular team not on the Cowboy or Steeler level but at least the second tier..

Sit at home, by a keg of beer, hella liquor, invite friends, watch on the 50" HDTV with replays and shyt. don't have to fight the crowd, don't have to pay $8 a beer ect.

No I was offered a ticket to the SuperBowl for completely free last weekend.

But I chose not to go cuz it was only one ticket, short notice and I really didn't want to drop a G+ on a plane ticket and hotel
