The Doubletree Hilton was $377 a night and that's by the airport! I don't know what the minimum stay was there but most places were four nights.

That could easily hit $3K for just airplane tix, hotel and game tix. I have to think that most of Baltimore's fans are working class as well as SF having a strong number of those as well.

I think there is some truth to the match-up not being the type to basically pull in the types to fly down and drop cash just to be on the scene. That has nothing to do with the quality of the teams :manny:

I was just listening to a couple minutes; Simmons with Rembert. They said that New Orleans jacked the hotel prices to an absurd degree and that's a big reason why people said 'fukk it' and decided to stay home.

Still looks black :wtb:

Just like all these cats look to come from the same race, probably got treated the same way by racists and on, hell one of them who actually is "black" is lighter than the one who isn't.

No :duck: I was offered a ticket to the SuperBowl for completely free last weekend.

But I chose not to go cuz it was only one ticket, short notice and I really didn't want to drop a G+ on a plane ticket and hotel

If only they could come up with a virtual place where people all around the world could bid on something like that. I guess you made the right choice by turning it down :beli:

The last time the Ravens were in the Superbowl, no one cared either...

These are two very good teams with a lot of quality players but few well known superstars. One team has a very small fan base, the other has a medium size fan base but is really only strong on the West Coast. As a result, there is less general interest in the game, which means fewer corporate seats, which means more available seats. Plus, New Orleans is hard to get to for a lot of people, and the hotels are packed for Mardi Gras type stuff

:ahh: No lie tho, the weather is just as inconsistent as the Giants. Might have a nice calm 46-50 degrees SB or 29-17 degrees with some random snow/rain storms SB

Cause most of the tickets are bought by corporate sponsors, right
