I mean really

You have two of the most iconic superheroes in one live action film and WB “fukked” it up. Of course there will be thesis and essays and videos about it!

Then you try to compare Superman to Thor and Dr Strange aka marvels C and d list superheroes? The average person never heard or read dr Strange. Everyone knows Superman...

DCEU films leave a longer lasting impression and theirs things to actually unpack and discuss. They're layered films that can be interpreted in many ways. MOS and BVS anyway.


Theirs nothing to discuss about ant man or the thor films etc They're straight forward microwave food films.

Wether you loved or hated MOS or BVS they were far more interesting to discuss.

If JL makes around 900 Million after 5 films the DCEU will have made around 4 billion.


After 5 films the MCU made around 2 billion.





If something is uniformly hated or uniformly loved their really isn't that much to discuss. Polarizing subjects are going to result in much more heated discussion because you have two very different perspectives clashing.

Or they're movies with noticeably dumb parts/scenes in them and when people point it out fan boys love to argue about how it wasn't that dumb just not interpreted correctly over and over again.
Also if JL only make 900 million they have 0 to little shot at ever making a billion $ movie. Marvel's highest grossing movie was their 6th movie and their second highest was their 10th. Let's see DC Flims or whatever it's really called do that, the MCU has made more money than the entire DC slate since Christopher Reeves' Superman. Really comparing $ is silly.
Congrats on a lucrative start but you still got a long way to go. And releasing 1 movie in 2018 and 1 in 2019 while MCU releases 3 each year ain't gonna get you there.

The Xmen films ARE well received only X3 and apocalypse were bad and they didn't have constant rumors of actors dropping roles and directors being fired or having someone else take over the entire cinematic universe so my logic definitely applies here bruh. And a shyt ton of DCEU threads are made by malta alone the other portion is movie threads. No one is making DCEU threads like that other than in your head.

@Dominic Brehetto hit the nail on the head. Most of the films so far create arguments. If something is trash, like Fantastic Four, it's not discussed AT ALL. Or even the Batman films that came out after Burton, most people thought they were trash, nobody is going to talk about it.

With a film like Man of Steel, it's a very polarizing film.. some people absolutely love it, some despise it. Some people fall in the middle. There's more to discuss.
