I've been watching a lot of DC animated directed video movies and I must say I'm a little impressed:leon:

Why is it though that Marvel's animated Universe lags behind animated DC Universe so much?

Because DC has all their characters at their disposal and they take often times directly from the comics which are written better than current day Marvel.

Marvel animation focuses on characters that nobody really wants to see, but that should change when they can do X-Men stories.

like who? You mean the Incredible Hulk?

Funny thing is Marvel started doing those direct to DVD animated movies a year or two before DC did, but they stopped because nobody gave a shyt.

DC leap pass marvel in the animated realm. Maybe Marvel decided to focus on live action movies over anything else

I mean...... let’s take a step back for a minute?

Is the narrative really that Marvel has bad animated movies?

Or is the narrative the more “accurately” Marvel doesn’t release animated movies as frequently as DC.

Like literally DC has droppped like 20+ in 4 years...... Marvel has dropped like one or 2.

It really just a matter of more content:ld:

Also, they once did a Hulk vs..... that had Deadpool, Wolverine and mutants...... I don’t think it’s a matter of “rights issues” when it comes to cartoons and the animation side

This...the stories they are based on are better, IMO. Dc just stays fukkig up their live action, recently.

Does marvel have classic animated movies? I can only think of the the ultimates which were okay, but not on dc's level.

I will say this....... like with anything.

Later stuff normally always is better than previous stuff.

shyt normally always improves over time.

The current crop of DC movies are also far better than the ones that came out around the time as The Ultimates. Matter fact not to even older DC cartoons are on the current DC level
