USA may "ban" drugs on the books, but they are by far the world largest producer of drugs and poppy seeds the world over. While I'm sure money was and always is the deciding factor, black people in the year 1937 was not treated as human in this country. So to say they would use the law to persecute is a no brainer

Alcohol and cigarettes are legal and those things will kill millions every year, yet nobody cares about that.
If you want to know who is demonizing weed look at the alcohol and cigarette producers, personally i dont smoke myself because ive only seen bummy nikkas around me use it but there's no good argument for it being illegal while people are allowed to drink poison and give themselves lung cancer.

Research Hemp...that'll tell you everything you need to know. As for professional athletes, the federal laws and the league wide bans aint stopping the ones who wana smoke anyway. I have a couple friends who sold weed to Eagles players of all ages and races too. No names will be given but it goes on league wide.
