Easy fix, say fukk Tariq nasheed. Plenty of people that like the identifier without being followers of Tariq nor care about Tariq. He was asked to clarify and doubled down, that’s his fault. Not only that, but people here don’t make the distinction as they have a history of anti African American posts no matter the identifier. Using Tariq as an excuse is just a Trojan horse for most people here to get their hate off.
Tariq literally owns FBA the name tho. Literally has it trademarked as the owner. Meaning me and other FBAs can’t use it if he doesn’t want us to

Yet plenty use it here and elsewhere without his permission. Also, who named Jamaica? Who named Nigeria? If we’re gonna go down the rabbit hole of what people decide to call themselves based on who named what, it would be ugly and very murky.
