Why is rap the only genre of music where the artists openly and blatantly disrespect the art form?

Somewhere along the line we've allowed fans and outsiders both treat Hip Hop like it's a fad or a part of a bigger scheme to make money. Then let the outsiders dictate what's cool and what isnt. Just look at the amount of casual Hip Hop/Drake fans that tried to tell everybody else how rap battles should go, for example.

There's more people making rap music as a hustle rather than having genuine love for it. Then look down on it once they've reached their goals.
