Why is paying $70 for a game only a concern when it’s a Sony game?

Call of duty is usually on sale for 30 something, every battlefield is half price within two months of release. Halo is free to play, you can freak a year of gamepass for less than $70 so if you're confused as to why the topic keeps coming up? All you have to do is ask @Gizmo_Duck why he didn't buy Psychonauts 2 yet.
