Melo is super fun to watch but the Hornets are a very bad team, so as a result he/they aren't going to get much buzz other than from people who already know what he's capable of individually.

A true chaos maverick needs some refining but you don't want him to lose the creativity and freedom that he plays with too much. Needs to find a way to be channelled for the good of the team without it being a chore.

He's hitting his teammates with crazy passes and they either flub it or pass it right back to him, he HAS to take those shots alot of times cuz only a handful of guys are willing to finish the play, he's usually looking to make a crazy pass first before anything
He doesn't take a fraction of these bad fga attempts of he has competent hoopers around him who can convert the assist, y'all woulda seen how cold he is with it if the Warriors had drafted him
A point guard with that high of a usage rate should be averaging double digit assists. Not below average shooting efficiency

at first it was lamelo launching 18 3s in a game
then brandon did it
then miles
then when everyone got hurt it was all the whodafukks launching bullshyt
even against the suns the team shot like 39%
lee isn't going to get fired in year 1, but he's made people think that borrego was a good coach. he's been HORRIBLE in spite of lamelo bailing his ass out constantly.

I think he (and Brandon) are a victim of analytics and this bullshyt offense
man the opening of the phx game summed up the entire season. we down 14 - 5, only made bucket a grenade heaved in by brandon at the end of the shot clock. missed 8 or 9 shots, if we even get a shot up.
lamelo tunes out lee, does that off the backboard bullshyt that only got us free throws but still got the team going.
people don't even realize we're last or dead last in fast breaks too. if we're not gambling, we don't get stops at all because our switch scheme is nothing the rest of the league hasn't seen already but with worse players. i've seen enough bad and young coaches now to know when a guy is coaching to a system and not his players.
you cannot stare at miles bridges until he turns into jaylen brown. that's not how it works. micic is not going to give you derrick white minutes if you just keep believing. if you have nick richards switch onto stretch bigs, they will ALL shoot career highs for that game. he's still a young coach but its ugly. brandon has a great mid range game - and he's been told to ignore it by lee.
