There was no need for Joe to disrespect legends like Meth and Melle Mel. If I was the greatest rapper in the world and I felt it in my heart AND everyone unanimously agreed I wouldn't say that shyt cause they legends/pioneers and they hadn't done shyt to me. The way he did it was disrespectful, I think Joe can rap but have both Meth and Melle higher on my list than Joe.

From what I understand on the Raekwon incident Rae wanted to talk to Joe, but he was fukking around a bit and that's why Rae's man got pissed off and ended up hitting him. I don't think Joe would have wanted a fair one with Hanz....

Yeah, Melle Mel did so much for Hip Hop and was such an elite status but saying "CAN HE RAP?" is very disrespectful, even if he broke down his opinion and stated why he believed he should be higher then I couldn't really hate cause it's his opinion so cool... but to me yes Melle Mel could rap then, can rap now and is better than Joe on the mic now. Personally to me so is Meth, but that's besides the point, like you said if somebody put their work in and minding their own buisness why talk about them? And oh I didn't know that, but Canibus is another person I'd put well ahead of Joe. So Joe is entitled to express his opinion but it's the way you do it, he was trying to play them like suckas, Joe wouldn't wanna see Melle Mel physically either. But personally no matter what I felt I wouldn't call out no-one's name on the list unless they were either extremely whack or arrogant. Dude didn't even seem to know who Cowbody was which I found odd....
