Why is Japanese animation so much better than American animation?

US Animation is dead aside from Teen Titans Go type stuff.

If we had more variety in animation it would crush the buildings tho. Japanese don't know shyt about pacing.

This is the most ridiculous plot point. Pull out an anime today and compare it to adventure time or Steven universe and it shyt on them. The point is while Japan kept up their animation Americancwent cheap. On average when it comes to animation in the past decade Japan has been shutting on the U.S.

and all those shows listed are animated in japan or korea. the technical aspect and craftsmanship is at a higher level overseas. shyt like steven universe looks the way it looks because it lowers the costs of animation. YJ and voltron are the only legit action based "american" cartoons.

Japanese artists will be straight up dying and shyt for stuff that might not even make the cut

came in here to say this. Compare animators in american animators to japanese animators health wise. Japanese be out here on the brink of death for their craft it seems.
