Firefox still has the best add-on support of all browsers. Chrome add-ons are god awful and it takes up more memory than FF, in my experience. Have you ever checked your task manager while using Chrome? It spawns like 50lemon processes with each tab :smh:

I usually use Chrome/Safari for my regular browsing, and FF for my lil' porn sprees.

But YT runs so choppy on Chrome, and Safari is cool but it'll make the video load all the way, which usually freezes the page. Gotten to the point where I started avoiding yt videos.

I have Opera, but I rarely use. Might switch to that this week and see how it goes.

I've been using FF for the past couple days & it's been just fine. I've stated a couple different times that, as far as usage, I switch between Safari/Webkit, Chrome & Opera most of the time. I haven't fukked with FF too much at all for maybe the past year, but, using it lately, can't really complain. To me, it seems that it uses less memory than Chrome does, and has been working flawlessly.

The thing that's a bit irritating is that ppl act like Chrome is the be all / end all when it comes to browsers. Not for me it isn't. I like it just fine, but I wouldn't bat an eye if it just disappeared into thin air and I couldn't use it anymore.

The one thing I REALLY hate about Chrome though is how much it wants to connect to the internet. I use Little Snitch (if you're a Mac user, and not using LS, you're doing it wrong), and the shyt wants to constantly connect. Whether it's "Google Chrome Helper" or "Software Update Bundle" or some other random process. And this is with Chrome NOT running.

I just cleaned my system up a bit in anticipation of Mountain Lion. Restarted the CPU, and only have Firefox, iTunes & Twitter running. So why in the hell is Chrome trying to connect to the internet? It hasn't been started at all, yet it's constantly trying to access the internet. shyt is a bit disturbing to be honest.

It better not be trying to update itself. I'll update it when needed. And I just checked my Activity Monitor: again, Chrome not running, and not been started since the restart, and a "Google Chrome Helper" process using damn near 300mb of ram :mindblown: What in the fukk  QUIT! It keeps that shyt up, and it'll be chilling in the trash.

And yeah, I can't wait for ML to drop. shyt, i've had no issues with Lion. My system has been running smooth as butter for the most part.

The only time I have trouble with FF is if I do an update and everything usually corrects itself. I never have had the amount of problems you guys have.
