I've been using FF for the past couple days & it's been just fine. I've stated a couple different times that, as far as usage, I switch between Safari/Webkit, Chrome & Opera most of the time. I haven't fukked with FF too much at all for maybe the past year, but, using it lately, can't really complain. To me, it seems that it uses less memory than Chrome does, and has been working flawlessly.
The thing that's a bit irritating is that ppl act like Chrome is the be all / end all when it comes to browsers. Not for me it isn't. I like it just fine, but I wouldn't bat an eye if it just disappeared into thin air and I couldn't use it anymore.
The one thing I REALLY hate about Chrome though is how much it wants to connect to the internet. I use Little Snitch (if you're a Mac user, and not using LS, you're doing it wrong), and the shyt wants to constantly connect. Whether it's "Google Chrome Helper" or "Software Update Bundle" or some other random process. And this is with Chrome NOT running.
I just cleaned my system up a bit in anticipation of Mountain Lion. Restarted the CPU, and only have Firefox, iTunes & Twitter running. So why in the hell is Chrome trying to connect to the internet? It hasn't been started at all, yet it's constantly trying to access the internet. shyt is a bit disturbing to be honest.
