There really shouldn't be a singular icon for black excellence and it's never been exclusive to one person. The entire point is to celebrate and acknowledge whenever a black athlete who receives his fair share of unjust criticism has a break out performance and silences his critics. Cam has long been one of the most bashed players in the league, so when he succeeds you'll see a larger response as opposed to Wilson & Tomlin who aren't nearly as polarizing
