:whoo: That's quite a long answer you asked for there. Here's a book that explains it better than a post on the coli every could:

It has its flaws, but for the most part this is a brilliant book

True, true. I like to think of it as a good starting point. It definitely goes against a lot of the narrative that people are fed about history, which I appreciate.

China is dumping billions into Africa. Want to know why?

Chinese workers are coming in from the rice fields. Getting educations. Wages are going up. A middle class is forming itself. Things will be too expensive to produce in China 20 years from now.

Where do you think industry will move? Africa.

The people in power are too busy selling out the country to the Asians and Europeans.

Niccas got all the resources, sell them for pennies on the dollar, and dont even force outsiders to put any money into the country. Just siphon the land and profit.

I love capitalism, but its so :demonic:

Not Technically a "Doctor"
Yakub's GRAFTED devil raped AND pillaged the ORIGINAL man's continent. Before the WHITE man came, there was NO VIOLENCE in Africa. Ever. No murder or rape HAD ever been committed there. The BLACK man is NOT violent. It WAS paradise with NO problems. But the BLACK scientist YAKUB used anti-melanin and FLUORIDE to graft a DEVIL. And when HE mixed DEVIL with DEVIL he invented the JEW. Jared Diamond? DIAMOND? JEW. Do not LISTEN to their lies AND trickery, blackman. The Caucahedron does NOT want you TO know that Homer Simpson was BLACK. Knowledge IS power.

Corruption, poor infrastructure and internal perpetual feuds ....that and a severe lack of formal education/technology...

It's hard to tell.

If Cape Verde is a microcosm of what's going to happen in the rest of Africa, it will go extremely well. China is dumping hundreds of millions in investments there. Literacy is way above 90%. Cape Verde is on track to being a first world country by 2018. It was 3rd world just 10 years ago and is currently considered "developing".

But Cape Verde is tiny. The government is progressive. Probably the only true practicer of democracy in Africa. There are regulations and workers have rights. European companies are coming in in droves and they're playing by Cape Verde's rules. There are no territory's that the government doesn't have influence over. Unlike mainland Africa where tribes still control vast areas of land.

It took Cape Verde 20 years of sould searching and work to figure it out.

So it's tough to tell how the mainland will go. With few exeptions, Africa is pretty much a mess politically Breh. The structure isn't there yet. The infrastructure isn't there yet. It will take 50 years before Africa sees a thriving middle class. And then the revolution will move elsewhere.

If it does go bad though it will be the 1500's all over again. Blacks exploiting blacks with low wages. Chinese exploiting the blacks exploiting the blacks.

Madness! :shaq:
