Angela is a true queen. Keeping your dignity and not selling your soul/body in Hollywood is rare. Her husband is wonderful I've heard as well...both as an actor and as a family man. It's no wonder they've been married for decades.

Absolutely, and they have been married for 25 years! He went to Harvard and then Yale for grad school and met Angela there at Yale. Two gifted actors, both with attractiveness, smarts, and wealth too! They are also active in their church and with various charities as well.

You keep bringing up what she deserves but you're not asking if this is exactly what she WANTS. She's been in the game for decades in front of the camera, how about now she wants to still do that but also transition into making the real money which is behind it. Same with Tasha Smith. She's not in front of the camera a lot because she's a writer and a director.
Again you act like people are breaking down doors for 60 plus black actresses. Unless it's Tyler Perry who is doing that? Once you reach a certain age and they stop calling, these people have to figure it out instead waiting on what they deserve. When has white Hollywood given black talent what they rightly deserve? Is she supposed to wait around for it or secure bags doing other things that she can do into her 70's, 80's etc that brings in money, keeps her name in rotation and gives her hella control to do what she wants without lessening her brand.
I commend anyone who has their hands in different pots getting that money instead of not doing so and so because of xyz. If you don't work you don't eat.
