Why haven't Denzel Washington never worked with Will Smith,Martin or Eddie Murphy?

Why do they need to do a movie together?
It’s like asking why Bruce Willis, Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, and Tom Hanks haven’t done s film together. I can’t imagine a plot that would work with all four and it would come across as overkill. They might have been able to do something when they were younger.

Does Denzel do comedy?

The Preacher’s Wife is the only “comedic” film I’ve seen him in. Eddie is surprisingly good in dramas, Will is hit or miss, and I’m not sure if Martin has it in him. I honestly don’t know if there is a film tone that could appeal to the strengths of all four.

Comedy: Eddie > Martin >>> Will >>>>>>>> Denzel

Drama: Denzel >>>>> Eddie > Will >>>>>>>>> Martin

Eddie, Martin, Will, and Dave/Jamie would make more sense.

Denzel, Samual L., Idris, and James Earl Jones would also be a good combo.

Both also command top billing


Will has his own Production Company (Overbrook) and has substantial creative control over the films he makes.

Basically two Alphas would have to put aside their egos to make a film work. Right script, right director, right time, and a studio willing to put up $40 Million JUST for two actors.

There was talk for a long time about Denzel and Will remaking Let's Do It Again

I'd like to see Denzel & Will work together, but not on that movie. The Poitier/Cosby movies are all classics, and shouldn't be touched, imo.
