some of these labels have been restructuring, going through executive changes, mergers, consolidations, etc.

that it's possible they just forgot he's even on the books

when they finally clean up house and decide which direction they want to go...he'll be dropped/released

I honestly think that he's such a non-factor, irrelevant that they don't feel it necessary to waste time and resources even clearing up his status. It's not like he's demanding an advance.
