Once the playoffs roll around you need dynamic players, as good as Mo has been he cannot create for himself while Kyrie is an elite shot creator.

This time last year Kyrie was averaging 21/5/5 on 47% and 46% from 3, all while creating a lot of offense for himself. The Cavs don't need a traditional PG, they need LeBron to play that role while Kyrie is basically a scorer & part time facilitator.

The bolded is exactly why the Celtics needed IT so badly last year, and why they need another player like him on the squad to take the leap.

Most of the point guards that are or were better and more valuable than Mo from his rookie year ('04) to now. Mo has shown that he is most efficient with LeBron on his team and that was the main reason he was an All-Star in '09 (and it was as an injury replacement too soooo he wasn't making it if Chris Bosh was healthy). He went from hot-cold role player last year to people saying he's more valuable/better than Kyrie because he's getting less defensive attention in Cleveland. Point is Mo is best in a role player role and while he can clearly still ball a little it's hard to consider him a very good PG in any stretch of his career.

Stupid thread. Not only is Ky just a more skilled player, he also steps up in the playoffs, bron will have his shiitty games in the playoffs, Kyrie can carry him, Mo will not. Hes a good reg season fit tho. That shiit he did in game 1 of the finals on 1 fukkin knee told me everything about his character. Mo was stinkin it up vs. the magic, we aint forget.

26/13/4blks isn't beasting? That's what he avg that series. And Rashard Lewis/Hedo stretched the floor for ORL perfectly. Magic were shooting 46% from 3 while taking 27 attempts, they were built to beat that undersized Cavs team. Hence why they made a lot of moves in the off season for a team that won 66 games.
