Why has Mo Williams been a better PG for the Cavs than Kyrie Irving?

49% FG 41% 3P 91% FT

He knows his role and plays within the offense, that's why.

And oh yea, he makes 2 mill a year :laff:

Mo has been doing his thing & was/is one of the missing pieces (guard wise) the Cavs needed/needs to compete for the chip this year.

:salute:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
54% of his shots are assisted, if you think they can win a title with 1 creator on the entire team....:russ:

Once the playoffs roll around you need dynamic players, as good as Mo has been he cannot create for himself while Kyrie is an elite shot creator.

This time last year Kyrie was averaging 21/5/5 on 47% and 46% from 3, all while creating a lot of offense for himself. The Cavs don't need a traditional PG, they need LeBron to play that role while Kyrie is basically a scorer & part time facilitator.

Kyrie's production came at the expense of Love's involvement.

This time last year Cavs were not as good as they are this year.

And?

Let's get this understood...

Kevin Love is a better basketball player than Kyrie Irving.

Love's combination of scoring + rebounding + passing > Kyrie's scoring + passing

With Mo Williams the team understands this. With Kyrie there's confusion and unnecessary role reduction to accommodate the way Kyrie plays.

Basically the Cavs don't need Kyrie's scoring ability more than they need Love's passing, scoring and overall engagement possession to possession.

What's so hard to understand about this?

This time last year they were a team with new pieces :wtf:

Love was also out of shape and admitted as much, as seen by the fact he was averaging 17ppg to start last season then started trailing off the more the season went on. Right this second Love is shooting a lower percentage from the field than he was with Kyrie at the same time last year :stopitslime:

If you think this team can win a title with Mo Williams starting at PG you're out of your mind, he's going to be a dangerous weapon off the bench for them but they need Kyrie because he gives them a dynamic edge not a lot of teams have.
