Why Dr. Dre don't have Warren G all up in the mix at Aftermath?

Seemed like they were close, Warren was probably already in a label deal by the DR popped off. He dropped regulator in what 93? By the time Death Row was still formulating right?

Nah.. Regulate was on the Above the Rim soundtrack in '94, which was on Death Row.

Suge considered Warren a Death Row artist,but Warren wasn't signed. Def Jam kinda snatched Warren up and gave him the opportunity to start his own label and put out artists. Suge wanted to lean on Lyor about it, Chris Lighty and Suge worked it out. That's how Warren ended up being on Def Jam instead.

Far as Warren not being involved with Aftermath, there's no way to know why that is, unless someone says. Warren might not be interested... :manny:
