Most of the southern dudes I meet in NYC are in a career field but I don’t mind southern dudes talking about how rough their parts are because New Yorkers and even people in LA never realize how good they have it in their cities as far as opportunity and government intervention goes.

I get this vibe more from east coast nikkas if anything. Down south nikkas be cool as hell, and for the most part we get along with everybody as long as you don't be on no bullshyt.

Down south nikkas are cool in person. On the internet however down south has the most annoying trolls who come off insecure about up north.

many southern dudes have never left the south but apparently know everything about NYC, Philly, Boston and Chicago lol. Especially NYC.


Most up north dudes had to spend every summer visiting their family down south which is where they get most of their opinions about the south.

and yes many of the ADOS New Yorkers I know have family in some very rural areas down south which is why they use the term “country”

Whenever I’m up north, people start asking me all types of questions about Atlanta whenever I mention that’s where I’m from. There is a lot of interest from the women especially, alot of chicks want to move down here. I’m from Candler Rd. and I could talk about how wild my hood is but no one that I would even care to hang with would care about that sh*t.
