Boat shoes are not a style that’s in or out lol. They’re still here and anybody can wear them. They’re like Chucks… you can throw them bytches in the back of the closet and then pull them out 2 years later with no problem. Nobody has ever said to me that my body shoes are played out whenever I wear them.. like I said though I don’t wear them too much these days

Nah, Chucks got hella history in the culture. Chucks were literally the OG basketball sneakers. Chucks were like J’s in the 70’s. Plus, Chucks intertwined with that whole L.A. and gangbanger vibe.
Boat shoes in no way is attached to the culture. Boat shoes are straight upper class private school Ivy League cac shyt. Boat shoes were picked up by some style brehs in like Spring 2009 for like two months. Boat shoes are the shoe version of a Golden Retriever. Something that is too white to own.
