And yes, it looks like his hair is thinning on different parts of his head. But Possibly due to the fact that it looks dry and our(black peoples) hair can result in breakage or balding/falling out when its dry or not properly taken care of. Added to that if ur a person who sweats alot then that can make it worse.
Either that or he has some sort of scalp condition

Appearance is purely subjective, thus why stereotyping based on looks is too common. Folks unconsciously co-sign a certain look on a person in one instance, then in a different environment, they will have "problems" with that same look
