Why don't games have local multiplayer anymore?

Yeah this is some bull, I rented GR:FS to play through the campaign co-op get the game and find out you can only play guerrilla mode and not campaign co-op offline it's ridiculous

Games take long enough to develop as is. Nobody wants to spend extra time on a feature most ppl arent going to play.
