Why doesn't the PSN network have more ps-one/ps2 titles

I love the concept of the psn network, but shyt could be godly status if it had a bigger selection of games.

I hope they fix this but I doubt it; ps4 around the corner

I agree. They're gonna wait till the PS4 to release more PS1 & PS2 HD remaster classics. There's no point in releasing anymore to the PS3, since PS3 games won't work on the PS4.

I heard PS4 will "stream" ps1,2,3 games to get around the backward compatibility thing, but no details yet as far as i know

Are you talking about HD remakes or just the original games? Cuz they tend to have a few originals go up every week.

fukk psn. I purchased streets of rage didn't play the shyt for the longest put in on for my nephew like this was the real shyt back in the day. Got a notice saying it expired and had to repurchase the game even tho I had already down loaded the shyt. fukk em.

For PS2 games, I know some games aren't 100% compatible with the current emulator so they have to upgrade it and from what I read they only upgrade once a year.

nikka.....Have you ever tried to play a PS2 game or PS1 game on a HDTV? It looks AWFUL. I'll give a Sony a pass on reselling us older PS2 & PS1 games, as long as it's a legitimate remaster/remake

If you have jailbroken ps3 you can play ALL PS1 and PS2 games

jak and daxter looks great...its not far off from the first ratchet and clank game for the ps3. i havent even gotten to the 2nd one either.
