Well when Harden lays eggs in May and people try to hide behind "b bu but Harden is tired from carrying a team", then his body gets brought up.

And what? What exactly are you contesting? I didn't say anything about Luka's performance in NBA vs FIBA.

You brought up the hypothetical of him starting the season in shape and getting sloppy. The Euro League was before the season.

Luka was playing 40 minute games in November/December - how could he fall out of shape if he's playing those amount of minutes @Morethan1?

Have you actually watched how his body looked at the beginning of the season until now? People can play basketball but still have a shytty body. He was clearly more tone in comparison until now

He played in FIBA this past summer and was looking tone to start the season, I've been watching the Mavs more since the Kyrie trade and Luka looks Doey/flabby as fukk now. I'm definitely not trying to make this a race thing, but I listen to nba podcasts all day while working and it's never mentioned

Because most people aren't going to bringing up the kind of shape you're in while you're avg 33,8, and 8 while shooting 50% from the field. Body shaming a professional athlete putting up those kinds of numbers nightly wouldn't make a lot of sense.
