Without using too many characters, based on cannon, back when the sith and jedi use to fight wars against each other, they said the sith use to fight in between each other a lot too. So, after this one particular war they had with the jedi, there was one sith that came up with the one master/one apprentice rule, which sith followed as code.

if you were a sith practitioner, or decendant from that line, after a certain point, you were suppose to adhere to that.

why is there a 'rule of two' anyway? seems like if i had that kind of power, i'd kill anyone else near me who could also use it cause they could one day destroy me. wouldn't be tryin to teach mufukkas shyt. that's like being on an island with one other person that hates you and you teach him metalworking and he eventually makes a knife and stabs you with it.
If the Sith were really about seizing power, they would utilize both the Jedi and Sith ways. That was the real temptation that got Anakin (besides his wife dying), being able to play best of both worlds.

Would be dope if a 3rd philosophy arose... . What if the 5 percenters just came through and fukked the whole game up?

If they made a gotdamn trilogy on Darth Bane like I keep begging for they'd get into Korriban and how Bane trained under the GOAT Sith Lightsaber fighter :banderas:Goe from that to him seeing how they all act on some scumbag shyt to him meeting and using a protege with incredible mental force abilities :banderas:All while secretly reading the Sith archives that are forbidden and learns how to use the Sith Bomb:wtf::damn::damn::damn:Manipulates all of those Siths plus Jedis that were coming and screws them all over:mindblown::banderas::banderas:1 film right there:banderas:
Nah, bro, that book was weak as fukk

This dude Bane became the GOAT overnight and Deeboed the whole Sith Academy. Compare that to Sidious’s 40+ year long apprenticeship under Plagueis.

That Thought Bomb shyt was dumb as hell too.

Star Wars is like the only franchise that refuses to use or acknowledge material from its books :mindblown:

Like literally every other franchise does. :wtf:
Who writes these books? Is it, or has it ever been Lucas doing all the writing like Martin with ASOIAF related books? And is every book considered canon? What's a good one to start with?

There's literally hundreds written by tons of different authors. Star Wars buffs can correct me on this one but I don't think Lucas has ever written any. None of them are considered canon since the new Disney movies though.

This right here. The Sith are more selective than the Jedi and deliberately keep their numbers down so each one can have a greater share in the force

That’s why almost every time Jedi face a sith they basically have to jump him in order to take him down

Yeah I read somewhere that the dark side is like internet bandwidth for them. Explains the ridiculous set of powers them dudes have.

A good sith learns and pulls from BOTH sides of the force. Sith masters eye jedi candidates then manipulate events to frustrate, anger, and lead disillusioned jedis to the dark side of the force

You cant really have a sith academy because of the inherent cut throat sith mentality. They will all fight and kill each other to reign on top as the top sith.

That's the story of darth sidious. He was just as entrenched in the ways of the jedi(force) as he was that of the sith.

You can also use mace windu, ben solo, yoda etc as examples.

The books that were written before Disney acquired them are non canon but Disney has new books ARE canon, and Marvel's comic books that they made for Star Wars are canon also. But almost all of them don't really add anything to Star Wars they are mostly books about already established characters like vader or luke skywalker. The only book I read after the acquisition was Thrawn which was pretty good.

Overall though if you're looking for canon books/comics I wouldn't waste my time, the best stories are the ones that are now considered non-canon, and a lot of them are from the mid 2000s and older.
