these days i'd said she's pretty underrated in terms of her legacy. before there was m.i.a. and santigold, there was neneh cherry. she was big in the late 80's and did her thing a bit in the 90's too
even got to do her thing on a dj premier beat!
her cover of "trouble man" by marvin (i love the lounge feel she and the band gave it)
neneh's the originator of that whole hipster style m.i.a. and satigold are now on
she still beautiful too
