Why doesn't ESPN just play sports center or sport-specific wrap-up shows all day?

I was at the barber and realized this. I never watch ESPN anymore and it's because they're talking about shyt no one cares about.

I don't either if I need highlights for something I missed I just go on their website and once I'm done keep it moving,but i know I'm in the minority cuz I don't watch much TV to begin with unless it's Sports or boxing

I was just thinking about this. Maybe I'm growing a bit conservative these days but I just can't take most of these shows and the announcers trying to be the focus of the highlights on every highlight all day and night. One or two personalities are cool but every second of every show, c'mon man. Most of them are lame as hell.

Highlights of home runs going on and we're hearing about ties matching socks. It's some kind of obscure shyt being talked about on every highlight unless it's a major, major sporting event

And they swear we want to know all about the goings on at the Bristol compound like its Magic City. I don't give a fukk about Bristol.

I hate it. I mean all I want to know is the score now. And I can just get a few highlights off social media but damn. What a waste of a channel

If all you want to know is the score you can check that on your phone. Your last statements state exactly why they don't just show Sports Center all day.

Half of those shows come on ESPN2 or ESPNews. Sportscenter is on almost all day on ESPN unless there's a golf or tennis event

Its why the Weather Channel doesn't show weather 24/7 anymore unless there a Hurricane, Blizzard, or Tornado Outbreak. There's hundreds of weather apps out there.

Who goes to espn to watch highlights? Go straight to the source nba.com nfl.com they give you longer better highlights and you can watch the games you want. You stuck in 2002 bruh

First Take, Mike & Mike, His & Hers etc high high ratings

Outside The Lines has won 14 Emmys

SportsCenter is the only show that has dipped in ratings because of social media where fans are getting their highlights on their phone or tablet

They can cut back on some of the shows & put up more highlights, but I definitely don't want sportscenter on all fukkin day. Its just news, it gets repetitive if you watch it for more than an hour.

Their anchors are mostly generic and non entertaining these days. If you're gonna show me highlights that I've already seen through vines and twitter, at least make me laugh and they fail at that more often than not.
